What the Heck?

I couldn't sleep this afternoon and I had the TV on so I decided to try and get captures from "Call for Help."

It was the usual bland experience. The Gnome looked better with the shaved head than I ever did and Cat, well, someone in management apparently likes to give people seizures at home from her voice. Oh, don't look at me like that, I'm being nice.

The whole show was blah. That's what call for help is, has been, probably always will be. The Gnome is better off by himself, IMODO and I was hoping that one day they'd figure that out ...

... and now I go to http://chris.pirillo.com/ and the Gnome says that he's no longer with TechTV.

This has got to be a joke. This has got to be an imaginary story. This is pretty dumb if it's anything but a belated "April's Fool" prank.

I may not have been a fan of him, but it was the role they put him in. He was hired to be a geek. He was hired to be annoying. He did that well. Sure he was odd, but dang it, MOST OF US ARE ODD. He represents us better than nearly anyone at TechTV.

He was one of us.

Like it or not.

Dammit.

Wonder if they'll replace him with that stupid sex show.
