CAN I CASH OUT A PICTURE OF MYSELF THAT I OWN?

No.

HOW DO I TURN OFF CASH OUT?

You can’t. But if the value of the picture gets above $2,000,000 the picture cannot be cashed out.

HOW DO I TURN ON CASH OUT?

Older pictures are set to allow cash out automatically.

For existing pictures that do not currently allow cash out: click ADD PICTURES. Find the picture you want to allow cash out and click ALLOW.

For new pictures, when adding them click the checkbox next to “Allow the owner of this photo to cash it out if it has not sold in more than 3 days. Note: When someone cashes out a picture of you, your photo price will revert to L$1. ”

IF I CASH OUT A PICTURE, DOES MY TOTAL WORTH GO DOWN?

Yes. Cash Out is a bad deal for everyone involved. Say you buy a picture for L$100,000. It sits there for a while and does not sell. You feel you want to get your money back for it. With Cash Out you’re only going to get L$70,000 for it. So when you cash the picture out, your Total Worth is going to go down by L$100,000 since the picture is no longer counted. Your cash on hand is going to go up by L$70,000 but you lost L$30,000 on the deal.

The person who had their picture cashed out loses the complete L$99,999 from their Total Value as the value of the picture has been reset to L$1.

I CAN’T CASH OUT A PICTURE, WHY?

To cash out a picture, this criteria must be met:

The picture must be worth under L$2,000,000, it must be more than 72 hours since you purchased it and it must not be a picture of yourself. On top of that, your total cash on hand must be under L$10,000,000 and the total value of all the pictures you’ve cashed out in a day can not exceed L$2,000,000.

HOW IS THE AMOUNT YOU GET BACK FROM CASH OUT CALCULATED

L$1 - L$3,000: Get 90% Back
L$3,001 - L$10,000: Get 80% Back
L$10,001 - L$500,000: Get 70% Back
L$500,001 - L$1,000,000: Get 60% Back
L$1,000,001 - L$2,000,000: Get 50% Back

IT’S BEEN THREE DAYS AND I CAN’T CASH OUT A PICTURE

Either the picture doesn’t allow cash out or there’s something screwy with the system (which happens quite a bit). Check the picture by clicking on it to see if allows cash out. If it does and it’s still not letting you cash out, keep trying or contact tech support.
