This FAQ is NOT CONDONED OR SANCTIONED by the folks who run Owned. It is designed to compliment the Official Owned FAQ so read that first before continuing here. The guy who writes it HAS NOTHING TO DO with Owned or Facebook. He’s just some dude named Jim Finch and he retains responsibility for it. You can pass this on as you like but you can’t buy or sell it. Plus, if you really like the dude’s work, go buy his pictures at: this link. He’ll love you forever.
Again, Jim Finch (or a representative from this site) has never claimed to have created owned, have anything to do with the administration of owned, or promised “official” tech support for owned. He cannot help restore your account, restore any money you’ve lost or combat hackers/stalkers/ex-boyfriends. Those are things that are handled by Facebook and the makers of owned. While he does provide advice, he can do nothing more for you than say, “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, did you contact tech support?” So please remember that before contacting him.
Also, please note that due to a dramatic increase in questions, we’ll be doing weekly updates here to cover questions posed in emails and in comments. So if you don’t get an email or a response, look for it here in the FAQ.
