This afternoon we were contacted by a former employee of TechTV who is featured prominently in many of the old “One Day at TechTV” comic strips. The employee indicated that while the were fine with the comic strips “at the time” they are no longer comfortable with being featured in the revival.
This has left me with a huge gaping hole on my hands. The person was central to a lot of storylines and featured in dozens of comic strips. Removing them from the strip would be like removing Snoopy from the Peanuts strip. You could possibly retroactively change them to someone else, but eliminating or changing them is so much work that it would not be feasible to move on with the revival without them.
