Home from Canada

It's a late July afternoon and I'm home from a week in the great country of Canada. I went with a friend to Toronto, Kingston, and Montreal for a week to hang out and just have some fun. I went into the drip having no plans and no clue (as usual) and it ended up being pretty fun.

The first day I drove to Toronto by myself and promptly got SO lost in the city because AAA.com's maps don't tell you the exact exit to take. They just say things like "take exit." So I ended up circling skydome for like an hour until I found a spot to get directions from the hotel, then another hour was spent being lost in the city and trying to find parking. Toronto reminds me of any big city in the North East, attractions pretty much spaced out and hard on the feet when you have to walk. It was much like an American city, and if anyone gets on Moopie's case for being one of those "weird Canadians" because she's from there then they have a lot to learn and deserve to be bopped. Toronto is a nice city and as close to the U.S. as you'll get in Canada. Except they have WEIRD potato chips (Ketchup??? Yikes!).

Monday Morning

It's Monday morning and I'm still half awake. Had to take Iago over to the vet this morning for his yearly shots. He's not very happy with me right now, but hey, that's just the way things go when you're a pet owner.

I'm still pretty sore. I haven't had my pills yet and I'm going to go rebandage my feet in a little bit. They seem to be healing but I might have my dermatologist take a look at them tomorrow to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.
