WHAT YOU MISSED: LUNA comes out with the artist formerly known as GOLDDUST. Goldie is dressed as baby new year. Goldie disses STEVE AUSTIN. Austin comes out and they bring out a PortaPottie. He beats up Goldie and stuffs him in the PortaPottie . . . LOS BORICUAS fall to DOA in a 6 man match . . . HUNTER HEARST HELMSLY says he's hurt his knee so SGT. SLAUGHTER says that SHAWN MICHAELS has to defend the WWF WORLD TITLE to OWEN HART tonight . . . KAMA vs. KEN SHAMROCK: submission win for Shamrock. ROCKY MIAVIA comes out and says that FAROOQ will take on Shamrock next week . . . GEORGE STEELE & TAKA MICHINOKO fell to JERRY LAWLER & BRIAN CHRISTOPHER by DQ when Steel was caught using a metal weapon . . .

MARC MERO objects to what SABLE is wearing. TOM BRANDI saves her but Mero beats him up . . . all the guys KANE beat up (minus ROAD WARRIOR HAWK) are in the ring, they try to attack him but THE UNDERTAKER comes out and fights side by side with his brother . . . RAVEN gets on the microphone. He says that HAMMER will wrestle the mentally defective CHRIS BENOIT. MONGO saves Benoit from an attack by THE FLOCK . . . an interview with RIC FLAIR -- he wants Bret Hart . . . ULTIMO DRAGON vs. EDDY GUERRERO -- WCW CRUISERWEIGHT BELT: Guerrero taps out to the
dragon sleeper . . . HOLLYWOOD HOGAN & ERIC BISCHOFF come out and whine about losing the title and they want JJ DILLION to fix it . . . WHAT YOU MISSED: they announced that JJ DILLION will draw the name of the REF. for the STING vs. HOLLYWOOD HOGAN main event . . . a lot of WCW wrestlers are out in the crowd together watching the show . . . they announce that the NWO says that KEVIN NASH will not be here tonight . . . DEAN MALENKO vs. EDDY GUERRERO -- WCW CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE: Malenko hurts his knee and Guerrero wins with a frog splash . . . NWO music starts up. SCOTT HALL comes out. Hall
asks his questions and I'm prompted to change the channel. I probably should. Hall says that Kevin Nash isn't here. He says that the ref. should just say that THE GIANT won. The Giant comes out. Hall tries to attack him. Giant headbutts him. Giant body slams him then Giant puts him out in the Jackknife before climbing over the ropes and leaving . . . VINCENT & SCOTT NORTON come out and take SCOTT HALL back to the dressing room then come back out. KONNAN isn't here. THE STEINERS & RAY TRAYLOR come out. RANDY SAVAGE comes out to fill in for Konnan. Savage pins SCOTT STEINER after TED DIBIASE accidently distracted the ref. to set Steiner up for a Norton/Savage double team . . . GENE OKERLUND introduces JJ DILLION. Dillion says that NICK PATRICK will be the ref. for HOLLYWOOD HOGAN vs. STING . . . MONGO vs. BILL GOLDBERG: Goldberg slams Mongo over the top rope through a table then pins Mongo . . . RAVEN comes out alone. Raven gets on the microphone and says that he's not going to wrestle tonight since it's in his contract. He says that SATURN is going to wrestle for him and destroy CHRIS BENOIT: Benoit challenges Raven. Raven tries to distract him while Saturn attacks him. Benoit blocks it and goes to work on Saturn. Raven eventually comes in and DDT's Benoit to set up for a Rings of Saturn win for Saturn . . . LEX LUGER vs. BUFF BAGWELL: typical ref. bump ending. Luger gets Bagwell in the wrack while the ref. is down. Randy Savage attacks Luger, Luger slams him, Luger wracks Savage. Scott Norton comes in and knocks out Luger with Rick Steiner's Dog collar. Norton wakes up the ref. and counts the 3 as Buff pins Bagwell. Typical . . . DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE vs. CURT HENNIG -- WCW U.S. TITLE: DDP takes the title in a lackluster match . . . BRET HART comes out to ref. for ERIC BISCHOFF vs. LARRY ZYBSZKO: Eric Bischoff needs to keep his shirt on. Zybszko selling the moves of Bischoff is even worse. SCOTT HALL puts a steel plate in Bischoff's boot while Hart yells at Zybszko. Bischoff kicks Zybszko but the metal plate goes flying out. Bischoff celebrates. Hart punches Bischoff. Then Hart knocks out Scott Hall. Hart puts out Hall in the Sharpshooter. Hall taps out. Zybszko chokes out Bischoff with a leather strap. Hart raises Zybszko's hand in victory . . . STING vs. HOLLYWOOD HOGAN -- WCW WORLD TITLE: Hogan pins Sting but Bret Hart comes out and says that it was a fast count and attacks Patrick. Hart says it should restart. Stinger gets a Stinger splash on Hogan. The NWO come in, Sting gets rid of them. Another Splash. Sting puts on the Scorpion Deathlock. Hogan submits and Hart raises Sting's hand in victory. The ring fills up with WCW stars as they lift Sting on their shoulders . . .

They warn THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS -- BILLY GUNN & ROAD DOG to stay out of the business. SHAWN MICHAELS & HUNTER HEARST HELMSLY take off their boxers to reveal thongs with "Merry X-Mas" written on their um, Cheeks. COMMISSIONER SLAUGHTER comes out and says that SHAWN MICHAELS hasn't defended his WWF EUROPEAN TITLE in ages so he has to face Hunter for the title . . . THE HEADBANGERS over THE GODWINNS by DQ . . . MANKIND says he has a surprise for THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS . . . SANTA comes out and says he wants SABLE to come out. She won't come out. A little boy comes out and Santa sends him away. STEVE AUSTIN comes out and says he's not Santa. He Stone-Cold Stunners Santa and storms off . . . WAR ZONE WHAT YOU MISSED: CHYNA comes out first. SHAWN MICHAELS next then Hunter Hearst Helmsly. OWEN HART attacks Helmsley and is taken off by COMMISSIONER SLAUGHTER . . . THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS go looking under the building for MANKIND. They attack someone under the building. Turns out to be an innocent and they run off . . . SCOTT TAYLOR vs. MARC MERO: SABLE comes out dressed as RUDOLPH. Mero wins then TOM BRANDI comes out and attacks Mero but Mero ducks out of the ring. Brandi attacks him again then walks off. Sable goes into the ring and takes off her Rudolph outfit to reveal a Mrs. Santa Claus outfit . . . 8-BALL vs. KURGAN: easy win for Kurgan. 8-Ball goes after the JACKAL & the rest of THE TRUTH COMMISSION come out. SKULL saves the day with a 2 by 4 . . . NEW AGE OUTLAWS go searching again . . . KEN SHAMROCK vs. D-LO BROWN: Submission victory for Shamrock. ROCKY MIAVIA comes out and starts babbling. HUNTER HEARST HELMSLY vs. SHAWN MICHAELS -- EUROPEAN TITLE: Helmsly pinned Michaels in record time. They hug and cheer. WHAT YOU MISSED: NITRO GIRLS do a Holiday chair dance . . . a babble from ERIC BISCHOFF . . . FIT FINLEY vs. EDDY GUERRERO: Guerrero walks out and says he doesn't need this match . . . a look at KEVIN GREENE . . . a look at THE GIANT . . . MONGO vs. MENG: Mongo wins with a piledriver . . . an interview with DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE . . . SILVER KING, PSYCHOSIS & LA PARKA vs. REY MISTERIO JR., HECTOR GARZA & JUVENTUD GUERRERA: Misterio pins Silver King . . . HAMMER vs. CHRIS BENOIT: Benoit wins by DQ when RAVEN'S NEST interferes . . . BOBBY HEENAN comes to the broadcast booth. He comes out to talk business. He sells out . . . HARLEM HEAT vs. LODI & SCOTTIE RIGGS: Heat gets the win when Riggs wanders off . . . BUFF BAGWELL vs. CHRIS JERICHO: Bagwell gets the win then attacks the ref. . . . LEX LUGER vs. RANDY SAVAGE: "THE NEW TOTAL PACKAGE" BUFF BAGWELL attacks Luger. Hogan opens the box and it's a replica of his head. STING is on top of an NWO sign and rappels to the ring . . .

MIKEY WHIPWRECK vs. JUSTIN CREDIBLE: Mikey submits to a leg lock. The locker room empties to save Mikey after Credible continues to beat on him after the match . . . JOEY STYLES updates us and says that Mikey has been taken out with knee trouble . . . AL SNOW vs. PAUL DIAMOND: Snow takes out both Diamond and CHASTITY with the Northern Lights Bomb and gets the win . . . VINCENT vs. RAY TRAYLOR: Traylor gets the early win . . . YUGI NAGATA fell to THE DISCO INFERNO . . . FIT FINLEY over DEAN MALENKO with help from EDDY GUERRERO . . . REY MISTERIO JR. & JUVENTUD GUERRERA over LA PARKA & PSYCHOSIS . . . MEAN GENE OKERLUND introduces two Retired Charlotte, NC police officers and DOUG DILLENGER before introducing ARN ANDERSON. Anderson brings out RIC FLAIR and gives a $15,000 check to the Charlotte Police Memorial . . . JJ DILLION comes out and gloats about the LARRY ZYBSZKO vs. ERIC BISCHOFF match at STARRCADE . . . SCOTT HALL vs. CHRIS JERICHO: Hall gets the easy win . . . MENG comes out for a match, BILL GOLDBERG attacks MONGO. Mongo was immediately up as Goldberg tried to take the match with Meng and the two had to be separate . . . RAVEN'S NEST attacks him after the match . . . JJ DILLION and ERIC BISCHOFF with Gene Okerlund, they argue about who is going to be the ref. JJ says that he's picking one of Eric's guys to ref. the match -- BRET HART comes out. Hart says that he's going to call it down the middle because he knows how it is to be screwed over by a referee . . . Gene Okerlund with BUFF BAGWELL. LEX LUGER interrupts the interview and calls Buff's bluff. NICK PATRICK comes out to ref. the match. Patrick DQ's Lex for throwing Buff over the top rope . . . RIC FLAIR vs. CURT HENNIG: a minute into the match THE NWO comes in and Hennig is DQ'd. DDP, Lex Luger & THE STEINER BROTHERS come in to make the save. DDP challenges Curt Hennig and then leaves when the entire NWO comes back out after getting beat up. Which makes zero sense but we'll pretend it does. Hollywood Hogan disses STING and the lights go out with a spotlight on STING in the rafters. Hogan says that they should go one on one now. The Lights go out again, Hogan says it isn't fun and Sting is over the WCW sign on the entry way . . .

WHAT YOU MISSED: JOEY STYLES welcomes us to the show and announces that DOUG FURNAS & PHIL LAFON one the ECW TAG TEAM TITLES from THE FBI and that JOHN KRONUS was injured with a broken arm. He brings out Kronus. THE DUDLEYS come out and circle the ring. Kronus will take them on and they beat on him until NEW JACK comes out. SPIKE DUDLEY joins the match as New Jack's partner and ends up getting pinned . . . MIKEY WHIPWRECK over JUSTIN CREDIBLE . . . STEVIE RICHARDS over CHRIS CHETTI . . . in a funny skit AL SNOW screams about having to ride in the backseat of a car while HEAD drives . . . LANCE WRIGHT comes out with DOUG FURNAS & PHIL LAFON and says he's VINCE MCMAHON'S message boy. He says that Furnas & LaFon will defend their ECW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES on Monday Night Raw. AXL ROTTEN & BALLS MAHONEY come out and challenge them for a shot at the belts followed by LANCE STORM & CHRIS CANDIDO. Turns into a Three Way Dance for the belts. Storm & Candido take the belts when Candido pins Balls Mahoney . . .

RAW WHAT YOU MISSED: a look at STEVE AUSTIN vs. ROCKY MIAVIA last night at DEGENERATION X . . . KEVIN KELLY, MICHAEL COLE & JIM ROSS seem to be the new announcing team . . . VINCE MCMAHON comes out and demands that STEVE AUSTIN defend the WWF title to ROCKY MIAVIA. He says he's not going to wrestle Rocky and if he has to come back out he's going to beat someone up . . . THE GODWINNS vs. THE LEGION OF DOOM: BILLY GUNN & ROAD DOG come to the ring with the Godwinns. The Lights go out and KANE comes out and destroys ROAD WARRIOR HAWK. Road Dog & Billy Gunn attack him when it's over . . . after the break Road Dog & Billy Gunn sing a song to the Legion of Doom. DUDE LOVE comes out to face Billy Gunn. Love wins the match . . . a look at TAKA MICHINOKO winning the finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Tournament followed by a scheduled interview with Michinoko and BRIAN CHRISTOPHER. JERRY LAWLER comes out instead of Christopher and he berates Michinoko for a lack of English language skills. EL UNICO comes out to face Taka. Lawler shoves Unico and Unico shoves back. Taka sides with Unico and Unico attacks Taka with Lawler's help then takes off his mask to reveal Brian Christopher. They leave Taka lying in the ring . . . a look at SHAWN MICHAELS "destruction" of THE HEART FOUNDATION" . . . FLASH FUNK vs. KURGAN: Kurgan used to be The Interrogator. Kurgan puts a claw hold on Funk, refuses to let it go, and the ref. reverses the decision and DQ's Kurgan . . . a look at SHAWN MICHAELS vs. KEN SHAMROCK last night . . .

THE HEADBANGERS dumb the card table and SHAWN MICHAELS & HUNTER HEARST HELMSLEY attack them. OWEN HART comes out and attacks Michaels then leaves through the crowd . . . VADER vs. JEFF JARRETT: GOLDDUST comes out and flashes Vader. Vader chases off Golddust and loses by count out . . . SALVATORE SINCERE vs. MARC MERO: Mero rants and introduces SABLE. Sable is in a potato sack. Sable takes off the sack to reveal a micro bikini. Mero goes on a rampage and takes her back to the dressing room . . . ROCKY MIAVIA vs. STEVE AUSTIN -- WWF IC TITLE: Austin says he can't wrestle. VINCE MCMAHON says he's going to strip Austin of the WWF IC TITLE. Austin gives his title to Rocky because he doesn't want it. He shakes Rocky's hand, raises it, then attacks him. Austin then steals the belt and says he has plans for the belt . . .

WHAT YOU MISSED: KONNAN vs. RAY TRAYLOR: The Lights go out in the arena and when they come back on Konnan is down in the center of the ring. Traylor is confused and pins him with one foot . . . a look at the NWO attacking DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE last week on NITRO . . . STEVE MCMICHAEL over THE BARBARIAN. MENG came in and went toe to toe with Mongo. Mongo goes down to the Tongan death grip . . . GENE OKERLUND with THE DISCO INFERNO: Gene brings up Disco losing to MZ. JACKIE. Disco said the Jackie situation was a joke. He says if anyone has anything to say about him they can come say it to his face . . . GENE OKERLUND with BUFF BAGWELL: Buff says that LEX LUGER didn't show him anything last week. He says that WCW has kept him down for 6 years and he challenges Lex Luger to a match tonight . . . WHAT YOU MISSED: GENE OKERLUND interviews ERIC BISCHOFF. Crowd chants "LARRY" for LARRY ZYBSZKO. Bischoff dismisses them. Bischoff says that there's nothing on paper where he's agreed to the match. He says that it's not going to happen, he's not a wrestler. He says that if Zybszko puts NITRO on the line, he'll accept the match. Since Larry can't that's that . . . JUVENTUD GUERRERA loses to REY MISTERIO JR. . . . HUGH MORRIS vs. WRATH: RAVEN & his FLOCK are at ringside. MORTIS puts a chain on his foot and puts it on the top rope. Wrath tries to throw Morris into it but Morris reverses it. Morris hits with the moonsault and gets the pin . . . ERIC BISCHOFF leads out HOLLYWOOD HOGAN. HH is upset that most of the crowd are wearing STING masks. Hogan says if Sting had any guts he'd show up now. HH says something real bad is going to happen tonight unless the fans get rid of their Sting masks. Hogan goes after an old lady at ringside. Hogan slaps away her mask and sulks off . . . Main Show
Joey welcomes us to the Golden Doom and announces that it's the largest crowd in ECW history and makes a promise that tonight we will give you a November to Remember!

Tommy Rogers vs. Chris Candido
Huge crowd with a lot of the ECW Arena regulars on camera side. Fast paced match with a lot of quick mat wrestling to start things out. We go to an arm bar and the crowd lets the guys have it. They pick up the pace and Rogers misses a baseball slide to the outside onto Candido. Back in the ring and Candido from the top but jumps into a fist into the gut. Candido gets crotched on the lower ring post. Couple of more moves and they're outside, Rogers is caught getting back in. Rogers reverses the suplex into the ring and Candido goes to the concrete hard. Back inside the ring they slow it down a little, Rogers gets a 2 count after a Hurricanrana. They lock up and Candido tries to fight out of a face lock, ducks too soon and get Rogers in a power slam. Candido gets Rogers in a vertical suplex and goes for the pin. 2 and a half count. Candido goes back to the ropes and hits a leg drop from the top. Another 2 count. Flair chops in the corner by both men and Rogers comes back. Rogers and Candido on the Top, Rogers gets Candido into a full superplex from the top turnbuckle but can't get the pin. Rogers goes back to the top and gets knocked off, Candido takes advantage. Candido hits with a top rope Hurricanrana but Rogers refuses to give up. Candido tries again and Rogers turns it into a powerbomb. LANCE STORM comes into the ring and attack Rogers. JERRY LYNN comes in and attacks Candido. It turns into a Texas tornado style match apparently. Rogers and Candio trade planchas onto everyone outside the ring. The ref. says it's official a tag match and it's starting now. Candido nearly loses his shorts in the ring. Lance Storm accidently drop kicks Candido from the top rope. End comes when Candido pulls Storm from finishing off Lynn from the top rope. He goes for a top rope power bomb. Hits it and goes for the pin, only to have Rogers save. Rogers his a tomakazie on Storm. Candido gets him from behind and hits Rogers with a northern lights suplex for the win. Candido doesn't help Storm up after the match.

Mikey Whipwreck vs. Justin Credible 
Match starts quickly with Credible going after Mikey's knee. It goes outside and it's an all-out. Back in the ring, slows down a bit. Credible shows no respect for Mikey. Missile drop kick gets a 2 count. Jason continues to point at his own crotch outside the ring while Credible attacks Whipwreck. Credible dominates Whipwreck. Sleeper trades by Credible and Whipwreck. Mikey gets in a super kick for a 2 count. Mike tries a roll up for a 2 and a half count. Jason gets up on the ring apron and gets suplexed into the ring then kicked in his manhood. He's down. Credible sneaks in with an inverted DDT for a 2 count. Justin wants Jason to finish off Mikey. Jason holds Mike, Mikey throws Jason into the ropes, which results in a crotching of Credible on the top rope. Mikey hits with the whippersnapper from the top rope for the win.

Al Snow in the locker room talking to a fake head. He's wearing a "J.O.B. Squad" t-shirt and he starts screaming about it. Saying that he's the brains of the Team. He says he brought the head back to get one free shot at him but now there's no more. He's the star, not the head. He's not crazy.

Taz vs. Pitbull #2 -- ECW WORLD TV TITLE
Paul E. Dangerously joins Joey in the commentary booth. BOB ARTESE introduces MR. WRIGHT and PITBULL #1 outside the ring. Pit #2 taps out in under 2 minutes. Pit # 1 comes in and is destroyed by Taz. Taz gets on the microphone. He says that Lance Wright brought his boyfriend with him. A guy in a WWF shirt is outside the ring with Wright. Taz says the guy does steroids. He calls the guy into the ring. The guy complies but security tries to stop him. Taz says to let him go. Security gets in Taz's face. Taz slaps security and makes him tap out. Paul E. orders the booth to roll something else.

THE FBI vs. THE DUDLEYS vs. THE GANGSTANATAS vs. BALLS MAHONEY & AXL ROTTEN -- ECW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES The Gangstanatas are not in the ring ore out of the locker room yet as the bell sounds and Axl & Balls attack everyone with chairs. 2 on 1 leg drop on TRACEY SMOTHERS by Balls & Axl then Balls misses TOMMY RICH with a chair, only to see BIG DICK DUDLEY attack Axl and chokeslam him. Samoan drop on Balls by BUH BUH RAY DUDLEY. Too much action to call highlights include: Gangstanatas music starting up and the crowd dancing as NEW JACK & KRONUS hit the ring. They bring in a garbage can filled with weapons. New Jack uses a mail box -- a steel one -- on Smothers. Buh Buh uses a cheese grater on Balls Mahoney. nearly everyone bleeds. Gangstanatas are eliminated by The Dudleys. Dudleys fall to Balls & Axl. Balls & Axl fall to the FBI when the ref. is hurt and ref. JEFF JONES comes out and kicks Balls in the groin and counts 3 when LITTLE GUIDO pins Balls.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam -- Flag Match Computer Crashes and we pick up the coverage half way through the match with Van Dam dominating Dreamer. Dreamer crotches Van Dam on the top rope. Dreamer gets a hangman's neck breaker on Van Dam on the top turnbuckle. Van Dam into the Tree of Woe. Baseball slide to the face with a chair of Van Dam. Van Dam limp in the ring as Dreamer goes for the frog splash by BILL ALPHONSO hits dreamer with a chair and knocks him from the top rope. Van Dam back with a tumbling splash. Dreamer hits with a DDT for a 2 count by Ref. PEE WEE is outside the ring with Fonzie. Fonzie attacks Pee Wee with a road sign. Two more refs come out. Van Dam hits Dreamer with a chair. Jeff Jones comes to ringside. Jones stops a 3 count by Jim Moloneax and attacks him. Dreamer gets a roll up and Jones attacks Ref. John Finnegan. Jim & Jon distract Jones while BEULAH kicks Jones in the manhood from behind the Jim & Jeff double DDT Jones. Beulah attacks Fonzie after Fonzie puts out Jim & Jeff. Beulah acts as a ref. as it keeps going. DDT by Dreamer and Dreamer starts to cover Van Dam with the ECW flag when DOUG FURNAS & PHIL LAFON come out on one side and STEVIE RICHARDS comes out from the other and super kicks Dreamer! They put a garbage can on Dreamer and triple team him. Van Dam pins Dreamer and the 3 count Van Dam as the winner. They bring out the WWF flag. They put Dreamer on a table and SABU comes out. Beulah tries to stop him and Sabu splashes her from the top rope. Dreamer goes to cover Beulah and it's a 5 on one attack on Dreamer. While they're partying in the ring THE SANDMAN'S music starts up and the crowd goes nuts.

The Sandman vs. Sabu -- ladder/table match The WWF guys clear out as they set up this match. Sabu doesn't want to wait so he dives over the top rope onto Sandman to start the match. Insane stuff, too much to call. Towards the end Sandman missed Sabu and goes through a table. Sabu throws Sandman into the ring then does a triple jump moonsault on to Saturn with a ladder on top of Sandman. Sabu gets suplexed on the ladder. Huge ECW chant. Sabu stabs Sandman with a fork. Sandman does some "teeter totter" action to Sabu with the ladder. Sandman hits with a somersault senton splash, crushing Sabu under the ladder. Slingshot Somersault splash and Sandman goes to town on Sabu. Both guys up, Sandman tackles Sabu in mid-air and both go down. Sandman drags Sabu to a table that's set up between the ring apron and security fence. he climbs to the top of a ladder inside the ring and does a somersault off the ladder and over and through the table on top of Sabu. Fonzie gets Sandman's cane. Sabu throws fire again and misses. Fonzie tries to cane Fonzie by Sandman grabs him, only to be kicked in the face from the top rope by Sabu. Atomic Arabian face buster onto Sabu with the ladder and Sabu gets the pin. We go to the replay and the crowd gives the Sandman a standing ovation as he goes back to the locker room.

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Shane Douglas -- ECW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Taz comes out and interrupts Joey Styles. He says that he wants Bam Bam Bigelow because on Sunday March 1, the next ECW PPV "Living Dangerously" he'll take the ECW World Title in a Title vs. Title match.

Bigelow comes out first. Shane Douglas follows with Francine, who is on crutches from a hairline fracture of her pelvis. Slow match with Bam Bam dominating. Total domination of Douglas, crowd tries to get into it but Bigelow batters Douglas with every move. Bigelow slides a table into the ring, Douglas catches him with Flair chops but they don't register. Douglas ends up power bombing Bigelow through a table when Bam Bam goes for a moonsault. Douglas goes to work on Bam Bam's back and kidneys but gets head butted and stopped. A series of clotheslines by douglas gets Bam Bam outside. Douglas tries a reverse victory roll outside the ring and gets power bombed through a table. Francine pleads for Shane to hang in there. Bigelow is obviously showing pain. Powerbomb for a 2 and a half count by Bigelow. Bigelow shoves the ref. but the ref. lets things continue. Bigelow wants to turn the arena into a mosh pit. LANCE STORM & CHRIS CANDIDO come out but security stops them. Bigelow throws Douglas onto security. Security dragons Storm & Candido to the locker room. Bigelow again throws the ref. down. Francine comes in and hits Bigelow with a crutch. Bigelow swings and misses with the crutch then almost decapitates Douglas with a crutch. Bigelow smashes the crutch on Douglas' arm. Douglas blocks a hiptoss into a backslide then over Bigelow and hits with his belly to belly suplex. Douglas brings a chair into the ring. He puts a table end on it. He tries to power bomb Douglas through it but Douglas reverses it into a belly to belly for the pin and to regain the ECW World Title!

WHAT YOU MISSED: LENNY LANE fell to DEAN MALENKO . . . STEVEN REGAL & DAVE TAYLOR fell to NORMAN SMILEY & CHRIS ADAMS . . . EDDY GUERRERO over LOUIE SPICOLLI . . . FIT FINLEY over GEORGE SOUTH . . . a look at STEVE MCMICHAEL taking out BILL GOLDBERG at WW3 then his defeat of ALEX WRIGHT and Wright firing DEBBIE MCMICHAEL . . . Gertner introduces "Dudleyville Sports Legend" BUH BUH RAY DUDLEY vs. TAZ for the ECW WORLD TV TITLE: The Ref. calls for officials to stop THE DUDLEYS from attacking TAZ outside the ring. BALLS MAHONEY & AXL ROTTEN come out dressed as refs. with chairs come out and stop the Dudleys and Buh Buh taps out to the Tazmission . . . JOEY STYLES welcomes us to Queens, New York. He introduces SHANE DOUGLAS & FRANCINE. Douglas says the slobs in the crowd put Philly slobs to shame any night but they're nothing compared to Pittsburgh fans . . . NOTES FROM THE MAD DOG
Well I hadn't planned on pushing this back to a day after new New Year's issue but circumstance, stress and a lot of other things delayed this issue for a bit. There's good news and bad news about it. Good news is that we're going back to a weekly starting next week, bad news is I had to give up some things to make that happen.

Things are expanding a bit with my day job so that was one of the primary factors in my recent resignation from both the Dragon's Gate area on AOL, where I was volunteering, and sadly, the ECW Web Page. I'd like to take this time to send special thanks to them for letting me do their page for the past couple of years and I'm glad I could stick through the transition to the new ECWWRESTLING.COM site. I know Bob Ryder's new web masters are going to do an excellent job in carrying on the tradition of the ECW On-Line. Again, thank you to both all the folks at the ECW and TOD GORDON for the faith over the years. I'm sad to leave, but I know they're in good hands.
