OUT OF THE RUMOR MILL by GARET JAX
The WWF puts on sloppy PPVs, the WCW turns up the notch on theirs and gets some good heat going . . . what’s the world coming too?!

WWF: New items for the upcoming Wastedmainia X show include LUDVIG BORGA vs. EARTHQUAKE and a possible 8 or 10 man tag team match. EVANDER HOLYFIELD is being talked about as the special guest referee for the world title matches, even though he has about as much wrestling knowledge as announcer MICHAEL BUFFER has talent.

It seems MARTY JANETTY is either out of the WWF or is bent over waiting to get the boot. On the recent European tour, Janetty got into a bar brawl, which didn’t make the WWF heads very happy. Janetty has been kicked out of the WWF a few times before because of his outside partying, and was once kicked out with former partner SHAWN MICHAELS after only one night with the federation. Time to grow up Marty.

BITS AND PIECES: MISSY HYATT tried to get into the federation, but there’s no room for her, so look for her to show up on WWN TV Tapings if you can get them in your area . . . May 3rd will see a TV taping in New Haven, CT . . . The Royal Rumble brought in a 0.9 buy rate, about 205,000 buys. This is down 25% from last year, but up slightly from the Survivor Series . . . THE UNDERTAKER that was floating above the ring at the Rumble was not MARK CALLOUS, but actually jobber MIKE FURY . . . the wrestlers and ALUNDRA BLAYZE are not getting along with each other in the back. Blayze keeps snubbing the guys, who in turn say her work has gone way downhill and shows by her laziness in the ring . . .

WCW: Waves of unhappiness are washing through the WCW, rocked by the hands of DUSTY RHODES and ERIC BISCHOFF. The wrestlers benefits have been cut back and the two top guys are running the place with an iron hand. If this keeps up, watch for the flow of new talent to either go to the WWF or the WWN.

The upcoming Spring Stampede card has these matches on deck; RIC FLAIR vs. RICKY STEAMBOAT with the world title on the line . . . VADER vs. THE BOSS . . . RICK RUDE vs. STING, and MAXX PAYNE/CACTUS JACK vs. THE NASTY BOYS . . . On the Slamboree card on May 22nd, Flair will be fighting a mystery opponent, managed by COL. ROB PARKER and right now it looks like it could very well be SID VICIOUS! Also on the Slamboree card is a Vader/Rude match . . .

Hopefully the wrestlers won’t take as many hard bumps at the Stampede as they did at Superbrawl. CACTUS JACK took a wicked back drop to the floor and suffered internal injuries, as was evident by his coughing up blood, but refused to go to the hospital. Jack did stay overnight before driving home the next day. MAXX PAYNE has 4 huge welts across his back from getting nailed by the guitar and BRIAN KNOBS of the NASTY BOYS separated his shoulder that Maxx messed up with an ugly suplex. It was popped back into place back in the locker room. Sort of reminds you of Lethal Weapon, huh?

BITS AND PIECES: JIMMY GOLDEN will be coming in to feud with DUSTIN RHODES in a series of bunkhouse matches . . . MISS ELIZABETH would love to get into the WCW, but the WWF will not let her out of her can’t-compete contract . . . Don’t look for REPO MAN or MIKE ENOS to come into the WCW anytime soon. After a try-out, the WCW never called them back . . .

WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW by BRYAN FISHER
WHAT YOU MISSED: This week Vinnie and Macho Man in the Broadcast Booth . . . 123 POUND KID AND RAZOR RAMON vs. THE QUEBECERS: During the match JOHNNY POLO was pestering Razor and 123 KID so Razor solved the problem by giving Polo the “Razors Edge”, Polo was then taken back to the locker room. Later in the match DIESEL came to ringside, then when Razor was pinning one of the Quebecers after a “Razor’s Edge” out of nowhere SHAWN MICHAELS jumped in the ring and stopped the pin and attacked Razor. Eventually the ring was cleared. Razor and The Kid by DQ . . . It was announced that next week on RAW that Yokozuna would be defending the WWF title against the “Macho Man” Randy Savage . . . DR. TOM PRITCHARD w/JIM CORNETTE vs. BRET “THE HITMAN” HART: Before the match Cornette blasted Savage about his match with YOKOZUNA. Later in the match Cornette was about to whack Hitman with his tennis racket who else but the Macho Man grabbed the racket out of Jim’s hand. Then a little later OWEN “THE SPROCKET” HART came to ringside and taunted Bret and when Bret was on the ringside floor Owen shoved Hitman back into the ring after that Bret applied the “Sharpshooter” on the Dr. . . . A wonderful WMX Report with “THE TOASTY” TOAD PETTINGTHEZOO . . . A LITTLE RICHARD promo for WMX . . . This week’s show opened with more on the Shane Douglas/Funk match . . . it then went into a clip showing a match with Kevin and Taz perblungering two masked jobbers. The Bruise Bros. came in as did the Public Enemy. P.E. thought they helped save Kev & Taz, and then the sixman brawl ensued . . . a clip of the Public Enemy in TODD GORDON’S office bossting things and going through the desk drawers looking for who had the title shot. Then, Styles announced that the Public Enemy and Bruise Bros. falls count anywhere will face Kev and Taz for the belts . . . Then things went into a video collage of Public Enemy and Bruise Bros. and spots . . . The highlight of the show was a match between PAT TANAKA and SABU. It was a high-flying brawling match in which Sabu attempted to get Tanaka on a table, Tanaka moved and Sabu went BACK first on to the table. Sabu somehow recovered and later pinned poor Tanaka . . . The next ECW house show again is March 5th Sat night. There is also a card scheduled at the Valley Forge Music Fair, Saturday, March 26th, but no details were given on that one as of this time . . .
