It’s Monday morning and I’m still half awake. Had to take Iago over to the vet this morning for his yearly shots. He’s not very happy with me right now, but hey, that’s just the way things go when you’re a pet owner.
I’m still pretty sore. I haven’t had my pills yet and I’m going to go rebandage my feet in a little bit. They seem to be healing but I might have my dermatologist take a look at them tomorrow to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.
Should have my pictures from Canada back tomorrow sometime. Once Mrs. Burstein approves the ones that she’s in she’ll probably post them over on her web site. I’m only in one of mine and thank god for that. 🙂
Watching a segment on a computer that’s also a refrigerator on CNN. It doesn’t make sense. Not because it’s a dumb idea, but more that it’s Waaaaaay underpowered. My god, 128 megs of RAM for windows xp? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???
I have a new dream. The Handspring Treo 90 is the sexiest palm OS PDA I’ve ever seen. It’s tiny, it’s color, and it has a full keyboard. That alone is worth the $270 price if I ever get around to a new PDA. I don’t need the phone version, but that keyboard … man, saw one at staples and had to get myself out of there before plopping down the money for one.
On my trip I found that I didn’t use my laptop as much because it gets too darn hot. It’s heavy and it overheats. It’s not comfortable to write with while on the road. My pager is better, but my pager can only hold one note at a time before you send it as e-mail. I do have one of those stowaway keyboards for my PDA, but that’s really obnoxious to use. The N key sticks and it’s just too big to write with. If the Treo is as easy to type with as my pager is, I’d love it.
On that note, those looking for my trip to Canada stories should check my archives. So enjoy, even if Moopie says it’s “too @#$#ing long.” LOL.
Take Care,
