Viewers of Jose “Chille” DeCastro were shocked by his actions on Tuesday as he strayed from his normal infomercial format to launch a brazen attack on fallen police officers, questioning why the deaths of police are honored.
DeCastro’s broadcast centered around an officer involved shooting in Blount County, Tennessee, earlier in the month that left one officer dead, a second officer wounded and a suspect in custody after the officers tased the suspect during a DUI stop, resulting in the man attacking both officers.
Deputy Greg McCowan, described by DeCastro as “the fat pig who got murdered,” was shot and killed when he and partner Shelby Eggers, described by DeCastro as “the cross-eyed pigtail,” attempted to take suspect Kenneth Wayne DeHart into custody following DeHart’s refusal to exit his vehicle during the traffic stop that happened in the early hours of February 8, 2024.
DeCastro belittled both officers as he played the bodycam footage from the traffic stop and asked his audience if the police would mourn him if he died and questioning why he and his followers should care if a “pig” died.
The YouTuber, who recently surpassed the 500,000-subscriber mark for his channel, went further, laughing at the memorial press conference for two fallen officers in a Minnesota case and attacking Eggers’ physical disability (amblyopia) as he played footage of Eggers testifying against DeHart in a preliminary hearing from earlier in the day.
Eggers was shot in the leg during the incident, which again, brought scorn from DeCastro as he declared himself “tougher, stronger, faster, than all women” and screaming at the footage of Egger, “FU police, the gloves are off!”
Using footage from the Rights On YouTube channel, DeCastro attempted to classify DeHart’s actions as “self-defense,” as the man had been tased three times for being uncooperative. Backtracking on previous claims of being “immune” to tasers, DeCastro seemed stunned when a viewer stated that DeHart had been hit with 100,000 volts from the taser.
DeCastro explained that contrary to previous accounts, he had never been actually tased with a modern taser. He indicated that a cattle prod style device had been used at him at a dojo in his youth, over twenty years ago, and he shook off the results of the shock when a friend used the device on him.
Using the 100,000 volts as a starting point, DeCastro again attempted to justify DeHart’s actions as self defense and justified in protecting himself from the police.
In more DeCastro news, the YouTuber announced that he was down to his last 100 5A Cop Cards, out of 6,000 units, and that a redesign would delay having the cards in stock. The 5A Cop Card has faced slow sales since their introduction in the fall of 2023, with DeCastro literally giving away surplus cards in recent days.
Host Becca of the Welsh News Network and Collin “Project Constitution” Campbell both individually announced that they had been denied access to the bodycam footage of DeCastro’s arrest last week in Las Vegas.
The notice Host Becca received indicated that due to a on-going investigation into the arrest, no footage or records of the arrest could be released at this time due to the records containing “criminal history information.”
PDocs of the popular “The Public Documents of Chille DeCastro” website reports that DeCastro has contested a traffic ticket he received in Goodsprings, Nevada, and his new hearing to contest the ticket would be held on March 12, 2024.
