Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s Saturday afternoon live infomercial from his rented studio in Las Vegas saw the broadcast marred by his controversial statements and changes to his program that gifts digital copies of his products to anyone who asks.
DeCastro started the program with an announcement of an immediate change to his gifting program. He claimed that due to high volumes of e-mails, he would no longer be responding to e-mail requests for free products unless he could verify that the requestor made the request during one of his live informercials.
The YouTuber claimed that he was getting hundreds of requests a day for his free product and that keeping up with all the requests was untenable at this time. While he later waffled on the announcement and admitted he’d probably still requests outside of infomercial hours, he stayed firm on the decision for the majority of the live stream.
Sharing several health updates, DeCastro announced that he was in the fourth day of a “no calorie” fast as an attempt to fight a cold that had been plaguing him last week. The diminutive YouTuber claimed to have stopped the intake of food and water, DeCastro concerned viewers as he had multiple moments during the infomercial where he needed to stop and calm himself, at one point claiming he was having chest pains.
Viewers expressed concern for DeCastro’s frail health as he displayed random acts of anger and rage during the broadcast. Their concerns were compounded by DeCastro’s announcement that he was heavily armed and had a high-powered handgun, shotgun, and AR-15 at his disposal as he imagined himself a hero who would save children from a possible school shooting.
After playing two police related videos, DeCastro then shocked viewers with comments made during his coverage of a video from the BravoMike YouTube Channel. The BravoMike channel is run by an African American YouTuber. DeCastro apparently had difficulty with his accent and asked if he had an African American audience member in attendance to the infomercial who could “translate” BravoMike for him.
DeCastro would soon follow his odd request up with an extended statement implying that Supreme Court Justice Clarance Thomas was a token appointment who would do the bidding of his political allies without thought of his own.
Jose “Chille” DeCastro is expected to air his next live informercial on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

If he went 4 days without liquid, he would be dead. So another lie.
His agitation and his arming himself, which he is not allowed to do since his California days, might suggest his paranoia is on the increase. Gun, drugs and paranoia… why does this scream a non happy ending?
