To literally no surprise to long time observers, Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s April 11 phone update from jail was released on Friday with a near complete change of attitude from the incarcerated YouTuber.
In his latest statement, DeCastro decried the state of the Clark County, Nevada, Detention Center calling it both one of the “most dangerous prisons in the world” and a place where 75% of the population did not deserve to be incarcerated.
DeCastro claimed that he was an innocent journalist who was unfairly imprisoned for filming a police officer and that he was not guilty of the crimes that he was convicted of. He then went into a strange accusation filled speculation session where he “hoped” there wasn’t a massive conspiracy where Justice of the Peace Ann Zimmerman was in contact with Judge Michelle Leavitt in an attempt to influence his appeal.
The YouTuber then alluded to his belief that there was a network of judges who routinely communicated with each other and had dinner parties where they hosted police officials, lawyers, and fellow judges. At these parties, and through other lines of communication, they discussed defendants and compared notes in order to conspire to keep certain common individuals in jail.
DeCastro went so far to say that elected judges had voting blocks who would perpetually keep them in power. He wondered aloud who actually voted for judges and why they voted for them; then mockingly asked if he could FOIA the personal text messages sent between judges to confirm their conspiratorial communications.
Despite these allegations of extreme corruption, DeCastro claimed that his July 10, 2024, appeal of his conviction for interfering in a traffic stop and obstruction would be a “slam dunk” and he would immediately be released from jail.
Switching gears, he complained about “dental issues” with one of the areas of his mouth that had dental implant surgery earlier in the year. DeCastro further opined for some dental floss, stating that he’d be in communication with his lawyer to demand the ability to floss his teeth.
DeCastro then wondered why dental sticks, hard plastic devices with a small strand of dental floss on one end and a sharp plastic pick on the other were not allowed in the jail.
Turning to house keeping issues, the YouTuber claimed that since he was no longer available to have new hoodies printed in Los Angeles, the last few hoodies available on his web site would be the last hoodies of the year.
He finished his phone conversation with Brian “Here’s the Deal” Young by going into a full advertisement for his 5A Cop cards and “indestructible” trifold, pitching the idea to follow their guidelines instead of following the actions that led him to his current incarceration.
