Jose “Chille” DeCastro again proved there were no limits to his on-going campaign to “petition” Justice of the Peace Ann Zimmerman on Friday as he released an instructional short showing his viewers how to petition the Justice of the Peace for his release.
The semi-animated short displayed on both his main DeleteLawZ and his DeleteLawZ Clipz channel and is entitled “Ann Zimmerman – The Face of Tyranny.” It features DeCastro providing a narrative on what his followers should write in their “petition” of Justice of the Peace Zimmerman, along with Zimmerman’s work-related mailing address.
DeCastro has embarked on a promised media campaign to punish Zimmerman for her decision to jail him last month for misdemeanor charges related to his interference in a traffic stop in March of 2023. The YouTuber most recently stated that he doesn’t want physical harm to come to Justice of the Peace Zimmerman but wishes public scorn upon her and for her to forever be remembered as “the face of Tyranny.”
A recent video by attorney Patrick D’Arcy showed that DeCastro may be breaking harassment and cyber stalking laws with his latest campaign. Justice of the Peace Zimmerman is reportedly fearful for her life following DeCastro’s repeated calls to action against her and DeCastro claims that he has already been visited by the anti-terrorism unit of the Las Vegas Sheriff’s Department.
According to D’Arcy, DeCastro’s use of the United States postal system to have his fans send harassing letters to the judge, along with his continued demands using the internet, may result in federal felony charges and a sentence of multiple years in jail if prosecuted.
His campaign may also prove futile as Zimmerman does not have the power to grant DeCastro’s demand of an immediate release with “time served.” As the case has already moved to the appeals court, other than possibly holding DeCastro in contempt for his continued insults and harassment, Zimmerman’s abilities to free or change DeCastro’s punishment have ended.
With DeCastro apparently ramping up his on-going campaign to punish Zimmerman, it remains to be seen if charges will be pressed against him for the petition campaign.
