Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s abbreviated Sunday afternoon live infomercial was briefly made unavailable due to a copyright block from Warner Media Group.
DeCastro’s video was down for approximately 20 minutes, in unconfirmed independent reports indicated that the video gained over 1000 new views even though it was blocked from view in the United States during that time.
The live infomercial itself was fairly uneventful with DeCastro announcing it was the last day of his “buy one give one” promotion on trifolds as his “business mentor” was upset with him for giving away product.
DeCastro tried to explain that he had a number of donations that funded giving out the extra trifolds, but he risked losing his mentor over the practice, resulting in Sunday being the last day he would run the promotion.
In policy news, DeCastro announced that he would be banning the use of police dogs in all cases except armed hostage situations. Searches for people or drugs would no longer be conducted with the animals.
DeCastro also announced that raids could no longer be made on felony charges. Raids would be replaced by the positioning of a camera outside the front door of a home to monitor the comings and goings of occupants in the house.
Reiterating previous policy announcements, all police officers will be required to broadcast from helmet worn four-way cameras at all times with a control officer monitoring their movements from an off-site location who would encourage the officer to “go out and fight crime” instead of wasting time.
DeCastro found levity in reviewing a dance routine by the NYPD Dance Team. The YouTuber mocked the all-female dance troop’s performance on local TV, jeering when a performer missed a step.
Sunday’s live infomercial went a little under ninety minutes as DeCastro had another event to attend, but the YouTuber is expected to go live again on Monday, February 19, 2024.
