Attorney Michael Ehline, substituting for Jose “Chille” DeCastro on DeCastro’s DeleteLawZ YouTube channel, claimed that DeCastro informed him that he had been visited by “federal investigators” this week.
Ehline declined to identify which agency DeCastro said the investigators represented, but made the bombshell claim that they were investigating multiple “out of state” individuals for identity theft. Further claiming that these unknown individuals would soon be extradited to Nevada to presumably face charges.
The Texas based attorney started the livestream by claiming that he had just returned from a visit to DeCastro at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas and was parroting what his client had told him to say. Ehline claims to represent DeCastro in legal cases in Texas and California.
Strangely, Ehline also claimed to have reviewed DeCastro’s earlier statement to his fans and found nothing wrong with it. This presumably included DeCastro’s repeated claims that Justice of the Peace Ann Zimmerman, who sentenced DeCastro to 180 days in jail, was openly seeking to have DeCastro killed.
Also apparently endorsed by Ehline, was DeCastro’s harassment campaign against the Justice of the Peace, in which DeCastro demanded that 100,000 of his viewers hold a “petition campaign” to flood the Justice of the Peace’s office with the demand that DeCastro be immediately released with “time served.”
Addressing DeCastro’s upcoming pre-trial hearing for a February 14, 2024, Las Vegas arrest for making false statements to a police officer, Ehline said that he felt that the case would never have gone to trial if he was representing DeCastro.
Ehline, joined by active Uber driver and auditor BZWatchDog, who was streaming while picking up passengers. Both men claimed that the February 14 arrest would likely never get to trial, with BZWatchDog stating that the evidence he has found will ensure that the case is dismissed before trial.
DeCastro is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing for those charges on May 1, 2024. He currently does not have legal representation in that case.
