Fans of the auditors we follow remained stingy on Sunday as a single donation to Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s “Legal Defense Fund Crime Scene Tape Illegal Arrest” campaign sealed his victory for the day.
DeCastro earned $200.00 in a single apparently random donation to his newest GoFundMe on Sunday, with no new real videos or news propelling donations to his crowd sourcing campaigns.
A quick check of DeCastro’s YouTube community page shows a near complete takeover by Attorney Michael Ehline, who is promoting his “How to Become a Lawyer with No Law School or College” campaign and no links whatsoever promoting DeCastro’s crowd funding needs.
DeCastro currently has multiple on-going needs for revenue, starting with the contract he signed to provide $6,000.00 a month for an attorney on behalf of Garrett “Press with Rancor” Van Nett. The YouTuber showed the contract he signed making him solely responsible for paying that sum each month until he reached the $48,000.00 goal for Van Nett’s legal defense.
Combined, the three confirmed and one unofficial campaigns total roughly that amount, leaving nothing for the funding of DeCastro’s defense of himself in his on-going appeal of his current jail sentence, his defense of unrelated charges of lying to an officer that is now scheduled for June, his defense of harassment charges against him in Maryland in the Collin “Project Constitution” Campbell case, or to fund his lawyer in his on-going lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
DeCastro’s trifold and 5A Cop card sales, which used to bring him $100-$300 in documented sales each day and Super Chat funds have been directly impacted by lack of livestreams on his channel and the incompetence of Brian “Here’s the Deal” Young and Michael Ehline in promoting the products to his fans.
While memberships and revenue from direct viewership will help mitigate the bleeding to some extent, DeCastro needs money immediately and will continue to bleed out financially until his release from jail in a projected 90 days.
DeCastro’s appellate brief in his appeal of his current sentence to jail is due today. We’ll provide coverage as soon as it is released to the public.
