Here is the media order for tomorrow's jury view in the trial of accused murderer #KarenRead, as to the lonesome death of #JohnOKeefe.
Everyone but those involved must stay 100 yards away. No talking to jurors or filming them.
We meet at the court at 9am before the view. https://t.co/NLa3DKQYR0 pic.twitter.com/v6gWGF0f5L
Reporter Grant Smith Ellis tweeted on Wednesday that the jury in the Karen Read murder trial will take a field trip to the murder scene on Friday in the presence of attorneys for the prosecution and defense.
Judge Beverly J. Cannone issued a order on Wednesday instructing the press that they may not film or communicate with the jurors and stay 100 feet away from them during the view of the crime scene.
It is unclear how the order impacts self-proclaimed journalists such as blogger Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney, who has been denied press credentials by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Kearney previously has conducted protests at the crime scene as part of his “Free Karen Read” movement and is currently serving as the unofficial propaganda minister for the Karen Read defense team.
Kearney is set to go on trial for multiple felony witness harassment charges in relation to his duties as the leader of the “Free Karen Read” movement later this year. He is also selling Karen Read themed merchandise on this Turtleboy website.
