In a statement released Sunday night on Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney’s (Turtleboy) Twitter account, a representative of Turtleboy implied that Kearney would be released this week as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts did not respond to his petition to “unrevoke” his bail.

There is a chance Aidan could get out of jail this week. The SJC will be ruling on his petition to unrevoke his bail. The Commonwealth has offered no opposition. It is not known what day the Single Justice will make his decision, however here is the plan if & when he is released.
Within minutes the jail will be alerted and Aidan will be released. He has a ride setup to go from the jail to Norfolk superior court house where he will be doing a press conference immediately afterwards. As soon as we find out if he is released we will post on our social media accounts & Aidan will be live streaming on the Clarence Woods Emerson Facebook page from the courthouse steps.
Again- it is not a guarantee that he will be released, but this is the contingency plan if he is.
The statement indicated that Turtleboy, if released, would hold a press conference at the Norfolk Superior Court House immediately following his release that would be live streamed to his social media accounts. While it did not promise his release, it made it clear that a release was possible this week apparently to get the hopes up of his fans.
At the time of the twitter release, Kate Peter released a new YouTube exposé on Turtleboy with accusations that Turtleboy doctored the audio that was submitted at a protection order hearing earlier this year. While coincidental, the tweet essentially served as a counter to the accusations made by Peter in her video.
Also missing from the statement was the fact that the claim that “the Commonwealth has offered no opposition” was only because the filing was done so late in the day on Friday. Reporter Grant Smith Ellis confirmed on Monday on Twitter that Special Prosecutor Ken Mello was granted an extension until Tuesday to respond to Turtleboy’s petition.
