As his apparent release from jail draws near, jailed blogger Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney (Turtleboy) released his fifth and “final” prison journal Monday night on his official blog.
Turtleboy attacked District Court Judge Paul McCallum in the journal entry, who had revoked Turtleboy’s bail for multiple felony charges after allegedly assaulting a girlfriend in December, for “lying” that the girlfriend Turtleboy had allegedly attacked was pregnant. He accused the Judge of lying in order to “save face” and to prevent his order from being overturned by the Massachusetts Supreme court.
The blogger bragged that he had a stress- and worry-free life in jail and that his happiness would be his greatest revenge on his detractors. Without obligations, he claimed that his time was spent working on his increasingly healthy lifestyle and because of it he would leave jail mentally and physically stronger than when he entered it.
Turtleboy complained that he didn’t get the “full prison experience” as he spent his time in incarceration sequestered away from the general population with “the nutjobs” in the medical unit which doubles as protective custody.
Thanking his readers, Turtleboy promised “as a journalist” his incarceration had opened avenues to new contacts and interviews that “no other journalist” had that he would be pursuing when he was released.
Turtleboy is expected to be released from jail on Friday, February 23, 2024.
