After taking a day off from his hosting duties, Brian “Here’s the Deal” Young struggled with the polices, protocols and procedures of being Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s replacement host again on Sunday, praising more of DeCastro’s enemies and giving another half-hearted performance as pitch man for the YouTuber.
Young went live Sunday afternoon to an assembled viewing audience of 400 and immediately struggled to captivate DeCastro’s regulars with another show devoted to Young’s anti-police messaging rather than the often-outrageous stylings and full-on infomercials DeCastro’s fans have grown to love.
In one of his most extreme moments since taking over for DeCastro, who is currently incarcerated in the Clark County Detention Center until at least July, Young played a video of a lone police officer responding to trespass scene in Las Cruces, California.
Young stressed that the police department has suffering from a lack of resources, which he claimed was a good thing as it prevented the police from harassing citizens, and watched as the lone officer was stabbed to death by the suspect, who quickly rushed the unprepared officer and stabbed him to death on camera.
Where DeCastro would have avoided the video as he was cautious of his channel receiving further “shadow bans” from YouTube, Young fast forwarded through the stabbing footage and explained that a good Samaritan attempted to save the officer’s life.
Young then said he had brief empathy for the officer then changed his mind as the officer more than likely terrorized his community and put people behind bars for laws that made no sense to Young. The YouTuber leaving the impression that more vulnerable underfunded police officers dying was his opinion of a good thing as it prevented their continued presence as terrorists in the community.
While stunning his viewers with his lack of empathy to the murder seen on screen, Young then used the incident to rally against attempts in Florida to establish a 25-foot buffer zone between police officers and the public. He mocked the ideas of officer safety and coldly rallied against the idea of police returning home safely at the end of their shifts.
Young went on to feature a video of DeCastro enemy San Joaquin Valley Transparency, stressing how brilliant the video was and how valuable San Joaquin’s work is within his community. His assessment falling flat with the few regulars who have stuck around during Young’s time as DeCastro’s replacement host.
After remembering that DeCastro was currently desperate for money as he is incarcerated, Young mad a 10-second pitch for DeCastro’s trifold and 5A Cop Card products, forgetting to include where his viewers could buy the items and eventually announcing that hoodies were still on sale for $50.
Young announced he would be taking DeCastro’s channel into full sovereign citizenry with an interview with activist Brandon Williams on the subject of “right to travel” on April 30, 2024.
DeCastro is currently set for release from jail on August 4, 2024.
