Well the clock clicked past 12 AM ET and I didn’t even notice. I was in the middle of watching Disc 2 of the Lord of the Rings Extended version. I haven’t watched it with the director’s commentary on yet, but I’m getting there as I get time.
I finished the marathon tonight after writing something like 10 strips today alone. Sure they’re shorter strips, and yes, I was totally out of my mind for some of them (hey I admit that), but I hope they’re worth the read and I hope those who followed along at home saw all 16 strips go up in 2 days. Add the 5 I did this weekend and … wow. LOL. I so need to find a life.
So 2002 ended. A lot of people are going on about how horrible 2002 was. I’m not going to bore you with it. That year is over. Let’s not dwell. Let’s just go forward into the year that is 2003. I’ll be 33 in September and hopefully I’ll live past the age that claimed a lot of my idols. I have no plans on going anywhere (you won’t be rid of me that fast), but in this day and age, you just don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow.
I’ll say thank you all for being here. Thank those who are close to me for being close to me. Thank those who I want to be close to. May you have a happy and prosperous new year. May you be safe, may you have love, and may you be here to see 2004. That’s the only resolution I want us all to share.
Too many people I’ve known haven’t made it that far. Too many people were lost long before their times. So for all of you who are still hanging around, take time to breathe and have some fun once in a while and I’ll catch ya on the flip side.
Peace, and I do mean peace.
