A bench warrant was issued for YouTuber Joshua “Broken System Broken Trust” Lantto (BSBT) on Friday after he failed to attend his jury trial for multiple misdemeanor charges in Taylor, Michigan.
Judge Victoria Shackelford waited a little under an hour for BSBT to arrive in court and had seated a jury with both the prosecutor and BSBT’s standby attorney ready to proceed. When it was determined that BSBT was not going to appear, Judge Shackelford issued the bench warrant and excused the jury and all parties that day.
BSBT is facing three charges of interference with police authority (32-31) from a September 26, 2023, arrest. Bond has been set at $2,500.00 with a 10% deposit owed.
During the video of Friday’s hearing, Judge Shackelford indicated that one of the notices sent to BSBT had been marked “return to sender,” with an indication that BSBT had moved without leaving a forwarding address.
The bench warrant for BSBT’s arrest is still active Saturday morning.
