WRESTLING NEWS
According to press reports last week the NWA and WCW organizations are battling it out in court after the WCW allowed RICK RUDE to win the NWA World title from RIC FLAIR at the FALL BRAWL pay-per-view even without the approval of the NWA.
The Charlotte Observer reports that the NWA had sued the WCW in Federal District court in order to block the title change before the September 19 pay-per-view event but District Judge Richard Voorhees declined to block the change due to the WCW’S ownership of an obscure document which details the apparent sale of rights to use the NWA belt from several years ago.
On TV this week the WCW officially announced that it would no longer recognize the belt Rick Rude wears as a “World” title and that it’s own belt, which hasn’t been called a “World” title in several months, was the official “World” title belt of the WCW. In related news, WCW Champion, VADER, has had to drop the “Big” and “Van” from his name due to copyrights held by the New Japan organization and the NWA concerning that name.
Title news of a different sort came last Monday night in the WWF when RAZOR RAMON and RICK “THE MODEL” MARTEL were the last two men in the ring to set up for a title showdown between the two for the WWF IC Belt this week on Monday Night RAW.
The WCW could have settled things by having a phantom title change and giving Flair the belt back, but since the WCW pulled out of the NWA on Sept. 1 things have been very tense between the two organizations and they may again go to court over the interpretation of the sale document by the end of the month.
Fans of the WWF may have been a little shocked to see that Martel was one of the last men in the ring as every advanced report said that the two winners would be IRS and Ramon. In fact, reports indicated last week that both IRS and Ramon appeared at house shows wearing the IC belt. Again, as always, Vince McMahon may have twisted reports when advanced word leaked out.

MR. NANNY REVIEW by BUCKBUNDY1
The movie starts out with HH enjoying his free time fishing. Then he doses off, and starts having wrestling nightmares . . . Kamala, Jim Niedhart, Brutis Beefcake (with face paint on) and some other wrestlers beating the crap out of him. Then HH discovers that his manager (That saved his life earlier by taking a bullet meant for HH) is poor and is starving. His manager a.k.a George Jefferson gets him a bodyguard job . . . They arrive at the job with a nanny running out of the house (That’s how HH becomes the bodyguard/nanny) He sticks it out with the kids torturing him. The father who is a scientist has developed a technological breakthrough must protect his children (that’s why HH is there). Later in the movie HH and his manager discover that the person after the father’s invention is a enemy from their wrestling days . . . Eventually they stop him, the kids who hate HH at the beginning love him and everyone is happy. Overall it wasn’t a bad movie, the slapstick comedy wasn’t bad at all. The plot and the writing weren’t bad either. HH proved that he could act pretty well and the supporting cast wasn’t bad. This movie is for Kids/Hulkamanics/fans of slapstick comedy. Rated PG, and I give it a Rating *** out of **** . . . I really enjoyed it, but if you don’t like HH you probably wouldn’t like it.

Special thanks goes out to HORSEMAN 13 for his help in outlining the WCW/NWA controversy . . . and, with that . . .
