Regan Benson live streamed as she returned to the Englewood, Colorado, Civic Center Monday night, immediately blaming a “troll channel” for the decision to ban the activist from the Englewood Public Library located in the same building.
Benson claimed that library workers watched a “Frauditor” channel over the weekend to get the idea to enforce a ban. She then insulted the library worker who wrote instructions on the form, claiming that the worker did not understand basic English.
The YouTuber has been at odds with Frauditor Troll in recent days, claiming that Frauditor Troll had hired a “stalker” who has been taking pictures of her and appearing at different outings to harass her. The person was the same person who was removed from the Englewood Civic Center last week before the city council meeting.
Once inside the building, Benson explained that she was there to listen to the City Council’s discussion of how other cities handle public commenting during city council meetings. Benson immediately claimed that this session would eventually lead to her being banned from participating in the city council meetings.
After an hour of listening to the debate, Benson left the session, complaining about the speakers in the room making it difficult to hear the speakers. Benson also complained about the audio on the YouTube coverage of Englewood City Council meetings, stating that it was impossible to listen to at home.
[Multiple checks of the feeds (and previous feeds) on three different devices Monday night showed no distortion with last night’s feed or other examples taken from the YouTube channel.]
Benson claimed that from what she had heard at the meeting, the City Council was favoring a style of public commenting session that would emulate Denver’s handling of those sessions. Under that system, the public would be able to comment but no city council members would be in the room to hear them as the session would be held during a break in the meeting.
From the live feed coverage, the “Denver style” was indeed discussed by the city council members, but the vast majority of city council members spoke out against this style, and it did not appear to have enough support to be implemented at this time.
Benson repeated previous threats that should the city council do away with public feedback or enforce their requirement that only city residents speak during the feedback period that she would no longer do business in the city of Englewood, depriving the city of thousands of dollars in revenue each month.
The activist for the homeless also indicated that she expected to receive a pocket warrant in the near future based on the charges made by library staff in the decision to ban Benson from the premises.
Update: On Frauditor Troll’s (FT) Tuesday afternoon live stream he announced that following his previous coverage of Regan Benson’s harassment of the Allied Security Guard, his fans went into action.
After announced what criminal codes Benson had allegedly violated in the video, his fans took that information and contacted authorities in Englewood, resulting in the ban of Benson.
