An outraged Regan Benson livestreamed herself verbally attacking members of the Denver Metro Police Force on Saturday as they carried out orders to enforce the city of Denver’s camping ban.
Benson had been tipped off by a fellow activist that police had already removed a homeless man’s camper and were in the process of having the man’s car towed when she arrived on scene.
It is unclear why the man turned his car and camper over to police, as both were running and could have been moved away from the scene. A bystander reported the man was offered a single night in a Denver shelter in exchange for his possessions.
The YouTuber and activist for the homeless took turns circling the two individual police cars, berating the size of the officer’s genitals while simultaneously accusing the officers of performing oral sex on their superior officers.
She would later identify the officer who issued the ticket for illegal camping as officer Jordan Matthews and would claim that he was the first officer in Denver to issue such a ticket. Benson warned that one day all the police shall meet their maker and be judged for their actions against the homeless.
Turning her attention to Denver mayor Mike Johnston, she asserted that Johnston had lost control of his police force and that the camping ban was only the first step in the Denver police’s plan to criminalize the homeless in Denver.
Benson then claimed she saw Denver police carrying out an involuntary hold on a man in Denver on Tuesday when she was dropping off Robert, the formerly homeless man she rescued in a blizzard in Englewood, Colorado, earlier in the year.
The man was apparently having a mental breakdown and was armed with a fake gun when taken into police custody. Benson, who did not intervene in the incident, stated that the man’s actions were not enough to qualify for an involuntary hold, but contended that the man was forced into one anyway despite multiple other charges the man may be facing.
Benson ended her livestream by thanking her assembled fans and pledging to continue her fight against governmental tyranny.
