YouTuber Regan Benson continued her attacks on the city of Englewood, Colorado, as she continued her self-appointed role as monitor of police in a new post to her YouTube Community page on Friday.
Benson took a photo of a vehicle allegedly belonging to an Englewood police officer that was parked in a “police only” parking area. She claimed that the officer “ran the stop sign” when pulling into the parking lot but apparently did not confront the officer or file a police report over his alleged actions.
The YouTuber went on to complain about Colorado’s body cam video laws, claiming that police are not required to activate their cameras unless they want to do so. She also complained about the cost of receiving bodycam footage, expressing dismay at a recent request for a minimum $600 deposit for the processing and release of footage from an October 2023 incident between the police and two homeless people that Benson is currently investigating.
Benson’s complete statement can be read below:

Englewood, CO-
A picture is worth a thousand words unless you’re a cop because they only have 50 words or less in their vocabulary they comprehend.
This is an Englewood cop coming to work. He of course ran the stop sign pulling in. Because, rules for thee not for me.
Note: “CON M4N” plates accompanied with a “Be Kind” sticker on side window.
Englewood cops have a climate and culture problem. It’s called, we weren’t getting caught beating the 💩out of and criminalizing homeless people to their death until Regan Benson showed up. Then, it got more complicated when Co passed legislation mandating body cams.
Our new body cam laws in Co are absolutely horrible. They might as well have written the legislation to read: only activate your BWC when you feel like it and never release anything to the public and if you do, make a large profit off of it.
It’s bad. Real bad. Thanks democrats. Fact.
So, in response, these agencies that have been getting away with beating and killing people are writing their own public transparency laws on releasing BWC and redacting BWC to nothing more than they want the public to see.
Englewood has been playing A LOT of games with me on BWC release. They informed me yesterday via email that they want a minimum $600 initial deposit with commitment to pay more upon request IF and even they decide to release this sir off BWC.
GFY EW.
This is for an incident back in Oct. 2023 that two homeless (a man & woman) individuals reached out to me about. Three EW cops approached them in a public park parking lot demanding ID. They ultimately beat the guy and tazed him for not ID’ing and complying with their bogus investigation.
Why are they acting like this? Well of course everything is an “active investigation” and BWC redaction is necessary when you’ve been caught beating the 💩 out of and violating rights of the people. Nobody believes the homeless and they’re all criminals. Uh huh.
SSDD in community policing with an honor to serving and protecting the 💩out of all of us.
