Craig Hendry’s return from jailing was a mystery on Wednesday as the YouTuber had his trial dates moved in his harassment and stalking case, but the YouTuber failed to return to social media or YouTube.
Hendry’s girlfriend Erica had gone live, in a video that was later removed from YouTube for violating YouTube’s guidelines, on Tuesday night stating that she had the funds to pay the $2,500.00 needed to bond out Hendry.
She had promised that she would get her boyfriend from jail “by noon” and it was expected that the YouTuber would then go live on his YouTube channel in order to detail his ordeal and the end of his hunger/thirst strike that he had been reported to be on while in jail.
As noon came and went on the East coast, there was no sign on Hendry, nor Erica, with just a mention of support from Brian “Here’s the Deal” Young, filling in for Jose “Chille” DeCastro, on DeCastro’s YouTube channel.
While Hendry was nowhere to be found, his court records have been updated. His long-awaited trial for harassment and stalking in Vermillion County, Indiana, Circuit Court has again been rescheduled. Hendry will now stand trial from April 30 to May 2, 2024. This was moved from a previous court date in August, with a new pre-trial hearing scheduled for April 19, 2024.
Curiously, there has been no indication that bond has been paid or of Hendry’s release in the court record.
This is a developing story.
