Auditor Craig Hendry announced on his Tuesday night live stream that he was turning himself into authorities in Indiana following Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s trial and sentencing in Las Vegas earlier in the day.
Hendry played video footage of his two most recent arrests in Indiana on the livestream, both for criminal misdemeanor offenses earlier in the month, in the video claiming that his innocuous actions resulting in him living in fear of police coming to take him away for his bond revocation.
Bond was indeed revoked in Hendry’s two-year-old stalking and harassment case out of the Vermillion County Circuit Court. Hendry was scheduled to go on trial for those charges on March 26, 2024. That trial was canceled as Hendry picked up the new charges last month and a warrant for his arrest was issued on Wednesday.
With Hendry presumably in custody, a bail review hearing has been scheduled for March 26, and his trial has been rescheduled for August 13, 2024.
