Despite promising to live stream during heavy storms that hit the Denver area last week, activist for the homeless Regan Benson went otherwise silent as the storms passed until she released a new video on Saturday.
The video featured homeless resident of Englewood, Colorado, Robert Stoker in court as he faced charges of smoking in a public park and obstructing a sidewalk. The video plays as Judge Joe Jefferson, who Benson has actively been staging an aggressive anti-corruption campaign against the city of Englewood in a misguided attempt to force the city to give a raise, and the prosecutor agree to drop all charges against Stoker.
Stoker’s post-victory celebration and subsequent attempt to file a complaint on his arresting officers was recently featured in Benson’s Wednesday live stream. Stoker was able to give an Englewood police sergeant his complaint directly before Benson’s aggressive behavior towards the officer caused the officer to end the session with Stoker and Benson.
Benson would then promise to live stream from the pending snowstorm that was expected to hit the area later that night, continuing an altruistic pattern of livestreaming while helping homeless individuals find shelter during bad weather conditions in the area.
It is unclear why Benson has essentially gone dark since her Wednesday video release, uploading no new content or giving updates on her YouTube community page before releasing the video of Stoker’s appearance on Saturday.
In Benson related news, former auditing partner Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova attempted an alternative revenue stream on Saturday night as he and Efin Reality debuted a prank calls live stream on Cordova’s main YouTube channel.
The pair were joined by 77 viewers at peak for a session of prank calls to owners of DeLoreans. It is unclear whether Cordova and Efin Reality plan to continue the prank sessions after the first was so poorly received. However, the pair seemed to interact well with each other in a time when Cordova has shied away from partnerships in the auditing community.
