The planned onslaught by Jose “Chille” DeCastro against the Cook County, Illinois, Tax Assessor’s Office (made famous in the movie ‘The Blues Brothers’), fizzled on Monday as the YouTuber was unable to reach anyone to harass.
DeCastro was previously triggered during his Sunday live infomercial over an encounter that auditor Audit Them had with officials in the office when they unsuccessfully attempted to have him ejected for filming in the building last week.
While watching the footage, DeCastro promised that he would call back on Monday in order to talk to staff directly and threatened a lawsuit against the office should they not remove signage prohibiting filming in the office.
DeCastro left messages on the voice mails of several staffers during his Monday live stream, including legal advisor Christina Lynch, who was the target of DeCastro’s scorn on Sunday, threatening them with a federal civil rights lawsuit if the signage was not removed by Tuesday, March 12, 2023.
While Audit Them was not present during DeCastro’s broadcast, DeCastro indicated that he would write the lawsuit on Audit Them’s behalf using Chat GPT then crowd source the funding of the lawsuit from his viewers.
DeCastro grew tired of dealing with answering machines from the Cook County office and strangely, directed his attention to the city of Riviera Beach, Florida. The YouTuber had been previously triggered by footage of a Riviera Beach police officer “pistol whipping” porch pirating suspects.
The YouTuber called city manager Jonathan Evans and left a message indicating that he had already bought a plane ticket to visit Evans and would arrive with a camera crew to film the city manager. He then threatened Evans’ career, claiming that he would negatively film Evans in the course of his duties and release the footage to the other candidates for Evans’ running for Evans’ position in upcoming elections.
Announcing more travel plans, DeCastro said he had planned on traveling to Uvalde, Texas, and New York State in the near future. While elusive on his plans in Texas, DeCastro said he would specifically be using his time in New York to prove that he was a better auditor than SeanPaul “Long Island Audits” Reyes (LIA).
DeCastro then directed his fans to support YouTuber Here’s the Deal in his “live discussion” with LIA on Auditing Erie County’s YouTube channel at 8PM ET on Monday.
The YouTuber also issued a warning to police that he would never break the law and that he would open fire if the police attempted to enter his residence without a warrant or with a warrant before he could call police dispatch to verify that the people at his door were police.
DeCastro specified that he would open fire with his AR-15 as he had been receiving death threats and could not trust anyone dressed as police who appeared at his door. He again assured his fans that he would never break the law and attempts to arrest him were likely assassination attempts.
Finally, DeCastro repeated his invitation to his fans to watch his up-coming trial on March 19, 2024, in Las Vegas for interfering in a traffic stop and obstructing a police officer. He said he wanted the court to be filled with supporters to show that his rights could not be violated by the “Jack Boot Thug Police.”
DeCastro is expected to return with a new live infomercial on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
